No New Posts District One

District one is one of the wealthiest Districts in all of Panem. Those who work for a living, usually work in the factorys making luxury items for the Capitol, making this district widely know as the Luxury District. However some residents come from a rich enough family, that they don't have to worry about working. As such, they ususally spend their time training to become Careers, or training their children. As such, when it comes to the Hunger Games, there Tributes are among the most feared in the arena. Here it is considered an honor to be chosen to compeate in the Games, and as such, even if they don't need it, most will enter there name for extra Tesserae, so they have more of a chance of compeating. If they aren't chosen, then many people tend to volunteer. As such, when it comes to Reaping Day, it tends to cause a bit of a commotion.

Of the two mining districts that there are, District Two most definatly have it better of. The district is in charge of mining and stonecutting, and as such, is know as the Masonary District. The District is made up of different villages, each surrounding a mine. However, this is only a front. District Two is charge of training the Peacekeepers, and for manufacturing the Weapons. Out of the three Career Districts, District two is the second one, and as such, most people are trained from birth to become a Tribute. As such they are amung the most deadly Tributes in the arena. This is another District, where it is seen as a great honor to become a Tribute, so many people tend to volunteer, causing a commotion on the reaping day.

No New Posts District Three

District three is the most polluted of all the districts, due to it's many factorys that make all the technolagy for Panem, from computers to helicopters. However, like the other districts, they are rarely allowed to keep any of the stuff they make, as most of it is shiped stright to the Capitol, for use by the army, and the rest is bought up by the remaining Capitol residents, leaving Capitol three relitvly rich, but just as technilogicly detitute as the rest of them. Unlike Districts One and Two, District Three is not a Career District.

No New Posts District Four

Although not as wealthy as the Upper Districts, District Four is still considered to be one of the wealthiest districts in Panem. It is the only costal District, and they use this to their advantage. They have become known primarily as the Fishing District, and most things that they catch are shipped of to the Capitol, but they usually still have enough left over from this to feed the rest of the District. It the third and last Career District, and although they're not as wealthy as Districts One and Two, they have still proven themselves to be quite formidible.

No New Posts District Eight - 1 Viewing

Does your winter coat keep you warm during those long cold months. Does your Shirt/Dress keep you cool in the Summertime. If so, then you have the good people of District Eight to thank. Their skills as seamstreses have been put to good use here, and they are know as the Textiles district. However that is not the only job here. People are also needed to harvest the materials needed for the clothes (Cotton, wool). Once done, the materials are then sent to the factory, where it is then refined into thread, or a hide, before being passed along to the final stage of being sown into the final product, be it a shirt or sock, before it is sent out to wherever it needs to go. Unfotunatly, the fancier Capitol Garments tend to outsell the garments created here, so District Eight is still quite a poor place.

No New Posts District Nine

What was once know as the hunting center of Panem, the citizens of District have long since been forced to stop hunting in the forests for the Capitols food, and have now become the Grain masters of Panem. The various factorys in this district that were once used to store fresh meat, to marinade the meat, and to smoke the meat, have now been replaced with Warehouses to store the harvested grain. A small quotation of the population work in these warehouses, making sure that the temperature is kept at the right degree, and making sure that no rats or mice get into the grain. Most of the citizens work in one of the various fields, harvesting the grain, weather it be wheat, corn or something else.

No New Posts District Ten

Once the intellectual center of Panem, that job has now been passed off to District Six, and District Ten has been put in Charge of Livestock, creating one half of the Agricuture quota of Panem. This District is in charge of rearing the animals and then slaughtering them and sending the meat onto the Capitol. Dispite this, District Ten is still quite poor, as they aren't allowed to keep much of the livestock that is killed.

One of the poorer Districts, District Eleven makes up the second half of the Argriculture in Panem. All throughout the District are Orchards, Grain fields, and cotton fields. They work hard, and most of their products are sent to the Capitol. Many of the fields have Tracker-Jacker nests, and as such, many Citizens have a good knowledge of Medical Herbs. Dispite being surrounded by food, many of the citizens tend to go hungry, as taking any of the grain is strictly illegal.
